You get more than you’d expect on Saturday Race Nights when you dine at the Melbourne Greyhounds - The Meadows.

Open every Saturday night from 5.30 pm the all new City View Bistro offers diners commanding views of the Melbourne city skyline at dusk, (thanks to its Level 1 elevation and aspect), as well as delicious dishes, crafted by our full-time in house head chef Steve Collins. It’s the perfect place to dine and watch all the thrills that come with world-class greyhound racing or make a special occasion that little more fun and exciting. It’s also a fantastic way to get a ‘taste’ of the delicious food and beverages offer should you wish to book a function.

Here’s how you can join us for dinner in the bistro

The Meadows City View Bistro is only open for dinner on Saturday Race Nights. You’re welcome to join us from 5:30 pm onwards. All we ask is that you making a booking. The bistro can be very popular, especially on signature Melbourne Greyhounds Race nights.

One great aspect of dining in the City View is that once you book a table it’s yours for the entire race night. You may come and go as you wish, as well as access the seats on the Level 1 balcony to see the stars of the night go around.

As you may have discovered here on our website we have multiple spaces that may be booked as part of an event or engagement on Saturday Nights, requiring our kitchen to provide for. At times we will limit numbers in the City View Bistro to ensure the quality of service supplied to diners in these arrangements remains first class.
